    soldering is very easy, no need to have experience, you can just practice a little beside, it's really basic..

    I did mine, but the only thing is that the red in the RPM side and the red on the temp guage does not show up, I dont know why. I used the blue leds from oznium, and replaced them accordingly. Everything lights up beautifully except for the red parts. Anyone have any idea?

    On the RPM gauge where it hits 5.5K RPM it goes redline, mine doesnt light up like the other blue on in the second post.

    you buy the LEDs and pay for shipping both ways to LA, CA and i'll do it for $50. i actually just did it for a guy out on NV. shipping usps priority 2 day was only like $9 each way. LEDs from oznium are 12-16 dollars, shipping included.

    i've done 5 or 6, including my own that has been going strong for almost two years.

    oznium.com, i think they are the best/cheapest place to get them. here is a direct link to the ones you need. all the clusters i have done for people, including my own, have used the oznium ones.

    it really depends on what you want to do. here is a list how many LEDs you need:

    Tach = 2
    Tach Needle = 2
    Speedo = 3
    Speedo Needle = 3
    Temp = 1
    Temp Needle = 1
    Fuel = 1
    Fuel Needle = 1
    Odometer = 3
    Turn Signals = 2 per side
    Additional indicators (ie gear selectors, CEL, Batt, Cruise etc..) = 1 per light

    well, then according to what i gave you above, you need....
    tach
    speedo
    temp
    fuel
    odo (if you want this too)

    ....i'll let you do the math;) also, i doesnt hurt to get a few extra LEDs just incase!

    i personally did everything possible (but warnings and R) blue and left the needles as is. some have changed everything, others have changed the bare min....its really up to you what you want.

    ohh wait so the needles have LEDs for them? So then that would mean i don't have to buy new needles cause in that cause i will change everything. as long as i don't have to buy new needles. :)

    needles have their own LEDs as well as there is an orange film on the backside. some guys have scraped that off w/ a knife or rubbed it off w/ alcohol.

    i dont even know if you can just buy the needles anyways. w/ this mod, you just change the LEDs, nothing else gets swapped out.
