    On my way back home tonight had to catch up to my dad. Hit 90mph for less than 10 seconds....only have 300 miles on my truck.....did i ruin it?

    Atrac is that magic button that you push to get 35 extra unicorn power correct? From what I was reading in the manual, 1 unicorn power is equal to 15 horse power.

    The forum has a policy against discussing street racing and other illegal activity.

    OTOH, the speed limit is 85 on some highways in Texas, and with the stock speedometer error being around 6%, you were actually only going about 84 or 85, so you may not have even been illegal.

    I suppose we're splitting hairs here. Talking about regretfully touching 90 for a few seconds trying while trying to catch up to another person - while certainly speeding, certainly illegal, and not condoned, is likely NOT considered "excessive" by many a "reasonable person."

    Don't mind me. I'm just "excessively grumpy" this evening. :mad:
