Siu, in August I think? Home Depot (probably WalMart too) sells them at the start of the school year, at least the stores near universities always seem to. Not sure if they have them year-round though.

44 mile Death Ride today, Concord to Dublin and back, good ride though, except for a lot of people on the trails kinda pushed my average down some, took me 3 1/2 hours.

I like the look of that, it doesn't disrupt the look of the truck like some bumpers do. :)

Yeah that makes sense. I guess I can wait and maybe catch some sort of sale somewhere. Thanks.

    !!
Damn. 44 miles. I'm tired just thinking about that. Strong work. Iron Horse Trail? Is it road-bike friendly? Maybe in six months I'll try it. Haha

Edit-- S, the next time I go to HD I will check for you! I know IKEA has a $20 special right now bc I was there last week, but don't remember the important stuff like size & color. I'm so helpful. lol

You have my number, text me a pic if you find any!! Thanks! I'll have to try to get to IKEA. Ironhorse is VERY road bike friendly. Lots of roadies like to take that for their training rides early in the morning because hardly any moms with strollers are on there and the joggers are cool as long as you call out.

    Oh check this out:

Not sure how an orange can be "humanely" picked?
    Please explain.
Two ways I read that. Either picked by a human or picked very gently. Either way how does the orange know how it's picked.
I thought that god made oranges SO they could be picked, in which case they have served their purpose of being picked. Also, I am pretty sure oranges don't "feel" so what difference does it make how they are picked.
    Just curious.

What they do is they raise the orange from a seed, singing to it every night and massaging the roots. Then when its old enough they take it out back and give it a happy bday with cotton swabs, rubbing alcohol, and a knife. All while the theme to "Reading Rainbow" is being played in the background.

    @carol:
Aite thanks for the suggestion, gonna check out Home Depot tomorow

No what they do is they strap the tree to a chair, double strap to an arm of the chair that the branch the orange is on, then they speak to it softly then they JAB A NEEDLE INTO ITS BRANCH TO CONCOCTION OF (safe to human) POISON THAT STOPS THE LIFE GIVING FLOW OF SAP TO THE BRANCH and the orange drops off on its own.

Kinda like they do when they do the lethal injection to bad inmates. Humane, right?

No wait, you snuck in while I was typing! There is peaceful music playing and a green pasture. I mean groves. Yeah.

The noble Berkeley-approved free range orange gives its life so we can thrive from it's nourishing sacrif--

    *cough

It was a little joking on my part. I make fun of.... most things, including myself. You should see what the humanely raised steer get- they watch a movie about udders, there's milk flying everywhere, it's all to keep them happy and distracted from the steak-making process. ;)
