Start saving to do the rear end first. It's going to cost you around $1,500-$3,000 in parts depending on if you can find good deals on used parts or not.

If you can weld and do basic fabrication (build a bed cage), you're in for the rear end at that price point. If not, plan on another $1,000 in labor to install.

For the front, start saving... $2,500 - $5,000 depending on what you buy and whether it's new or used. Again, if you can install yourself you're good to go if not plan on another $500-1000 in labor.

That's just the suspension... that doesn't cover all the little things that will come up. I suggest you read the FAQ threads.

And like I tell everyone... if you are going to build and run an LT truck, have enough money to get to work on Monday when you roll the truck on Saturday and insurance tells you "no joy bro, you were offroad"

mxpatriot thank you i now have a plan of what I'm going to do thanks again for all the help

i would save it and wait till you get about 1000-1500 before you start looking for parts. you need about 10 times more to finish up the rear if not less. Prices ranges i saw (keep in mind it took me about a year before i got all my parts) varied like a mofo. some are deals while others arent. the deals you do find, are gone super fast so keep your eyes open and just keep searching.

edit:keep in mind if you do run LT in the rear first, you need rear glass. i dont know how a truck would look with just rear glass so might want to consider front glass so it doesnt look to funky ( i think? ) never seen just rear glass on a truck.
