So I was thinking. Toyota offers the tundra in three cab configurations, reg cab, double cab, and crewmax. When my son is in his carseat we have to slide the passenger seat up a pretty good ways to make it where his feet aren't on the back of the seat. What if Toyota offered a crewmax Tacoma? Use the frame from the long bed models but stretch the cab out a little and use the shortbed... I've really been considering a full size truck but love the size and agility of the taco. Just an idea..

After looking on the website..it looks like the double would be access and crewmax would be double for the taco...ah ok nvm..so the double/access has enough room to have forward seats...well its full size truck so of course it will have more room. Anything more than the current double would look funny IMO.

On the tundra double cab the door open like reg doors not suicide like the Tacoma access cab

Might look a little awkward if the rear door was bigger than the front door but I'm into it if the doors were the same size, just bigger

That would look wierd. There is no need for a crew max tacoma. People who need that much room move up to a bigger truck.

Seriously though, I think a longer back seat row in a double cab Taco would look silly but my carpool guys would love it.
