    very nice!

how do you like those tires? i those are the tires our yamaha and honda dealer have pre mounted on wheels. have not seen anyone with them, and i would like to get a set for the rhino.

so how do they do on rocks, and mud and just all around trails?

ok, i’m very jelly of the SWB thats what i really wanted! but i looked for like 3 or 4 months, and i could not find one any where i was even looking 4 or 5 hours a way. found a few, but they where pre runners and i had to have 4x4. that was the main reason for my getting a truck. and i wanted the TRD off road. i did not need the long bed. dad has a 2000 tundra and we have a 7’X12’ trailer.

i have to admit i sorta like it even though its not a "guys" color.

her requirements for her truck were: 4 door, SWB, or silver, no scoop (didn't happen but she sorta likes it), and preferebly short bed.

the nice thing about the LB is i should be able to fit both the quads in the back to take to AZ or local trails,we don't have a small trailer and if we did we probably wouldn't use it because the speed limit for any veichle with a trailer is 55.

she looked for 1 month tops, she wanted a 04+ f-150 but drove it and decided it was to big, she told me there was no way she was getting a tacoma, but then she drove my cousins 05 sport and she just had to have a tacoma

hopefully my next truck will be either a 01-04 taco 4x4 or a early tundra 4x4.
i'ma turn me truck into a LT truck i think, and i need a truck that has a tow capacity or ~6,500-7,000 to tow our boat out to lake mead, while our big truck, 2005 f-250 6.0 4x4 SB lariat, tows our toy hauler.

oh nice. yeah i did not really like the hood scoop. and sliver was my 2nd pick on color.3rd would have been the MGM (the dark gray)

WTF? 55 mph trailer. hell i tow our trailer with rhino and a honda rancher (aprox 3k pounds) at 75mph and do just fine.

her next choice would have been indigo ink.

it's a stupid law to "minimize accidents", IMO it could potentially cause a accident.

    yup.

anyway, back on topic, i want to mod my 03 z400, i've looked on the forums and it's very confusing compared to TW, so anyone know of decent starter mods?
i'm thinking suspension, lights, and power.

suspension i think i'll go to stock shocks on the 06+ quads, they're a bit better and have resi's, light's i'm still not sure on cause i don't have the money to drop on rigid's, and power i think cams and a exhaust system.

yeah. rigid are $$$ but are soooo nice. and the dually’s will run on a 9v battery for like 2 hours. imho, on lights just wait a little longer and save up more money and get really good lights.

i would like to get one for ours. you can out run the lights at like 20mph. and i put supper white Xe (xenon premium) bulbs in. they are brighter on low beam than they are on high. i got them at the dealer. i had a problem with the fuse tho. it keep blowing them when you put the high beams on. my fix was to but one size higher fuse in no problems since. but i’m still “out running” them at like 20mph.

what do ya'll think about a HID conversion? there seems to be a popular kit on the z400 forums.

they are can be good. but i have read about people melting the lenses on their lights. i guess they just burn hotter, and the lenses on atvs and stuff are not made for much heat.

i didn't know about the heat, i'll have to do my research.

one thing i noticed after coming back from the dunes is my quad seems to have a little more power, anyone have a reason or guess as to this?
