    ...too much shit to list.
Yukon ONLY makes the "high performance" for the 7.5 IFS diff.
And respectfully disagree on them being cryo treated. IIRC they are only vacuum heat treated, not cryo treated.

Then it's not going to be a big mystery when you break your third set of gears. Doing the same thing and expecting different results is the definition of insanity. Based on your posts and driving style, you're asking an awfully lot out of a tiny ass 7.5" ring gear...at 4.88 none the less.

Not trying to be a dick, but I remember being 19 too: I knew everything, I was the best driver in the world....and I drove my vehicles into the fucking ground. I've said it before, but if I owned my truck when I was a kid, I'd be dead. Quite frankly I'd bet money if you made some small changes to your driving habbits, even in 4low, you're gears would last.
    1) Lift anytime either the front or rear axle is completely unloaded
    2) If either front or rear starts hopping....lift, no matter how close you are to getting out of whatever fucked up predicament you're in.
    3) Drive in 4 hi as much as you can. I only go into 4low if I'm clutching a lot in 1st gear or doing back and forth 1st to 2nd.
    4) I've been stuck in the sand countless times...there's a point where you need to just get off the gas pedal even if you feel like you're moving forward. Inevitably you just end up stuck anyway.
Take it as a grain of salt. I'd rather be stuck than blow gears. To date, I've still never blown front or rear R&P. I've fucked up pretty much everything else on my truck, but my drivetrain is still solid.

I still say look into cryo treating. It's like 50 bucks for a R&P. Tons of places do it like Longfield.

Glamis gets huge when you get deep into it. The fastest I've ever been off road was in glamis though. 125mph down sand hwy in Paul Tracys original Tatum car. That car also did 117 on the GPS in a wheelie with 2 of us in it down the sand drags, LOL.

Depends how you drive. From a power stand point, no. If you land on the gas all the time jumping, than yes. That being said, I've never broke a stock 30 spline axle in my t100 rear end with a 200 HP 22re

small truck, low power, mild-moderate driving. i think i should be ok, just wanted another opinion. what would you pay for a 68" 28 spline 9" (with gearing that has to be changed out anyways i think its 2.75 gearing) ? drums btw.

I pay 125$ for a complete 9" from the junk yard I deal with. Hit me up when your ready to buy gears too, I have a good supplier I deal with.

well im torn on gearing. i want to run 33's so i dont know if i want to go 4.88 or 4.56

and a buck 25 sounds like a great deal. tough part for me is finding the 5 on 4.5 pattern. yet another thing im torn on keeping. using the toyota hub on a fabtech spindle now, id like to ditch the spindle for a fabbed one that retains the height, but could bring in the width about an inch. if i do that, then i want to shit can the lug pattern and go 5 on 5. never ending.
