The other side is just fine. Its the side that was pissing me off that got the fogging, it could be because I was missing that one piece behind the light at the same time.

 

Yeah it was the last light you did. I remember, I was there lol

I'll look again for that cap, but that shouldn't cause that much of an issue unless you got water in it. I never had the rubber caps on for the head light bulbs for months and months, never got moisture in the housing.

Did you wash it or was it just sitting outside?

 

I washed it today. I figured 2 days would be about good, and I havent washed my truck in a long time so I had the urge to wash/ test the seals and it passed and failed.

 

2 days... we told you to take your time man lol

Pull the rubber boots off the back of the housings. Run your headlights for a day or two during both day and night.

If that doesn't work. Bake it. Pull it apart. Let it sit for a day inside in sunlight.. then bake and reseal.

 

Shit happens, its part of working on vehicles.

If you can't get it figured out let me know. We'll get it squared away and sealed.

No worries its not to bad. Its kinda light and less than half of the light has fog.

Thanks man I had a great day today.. Went to an orientation at the UTI, then Cabelas, then work, Pei Wei, some gifts, family fun (no homo) and now just thinking about my tacoma and what to buy for it... Seriously I think about this truck WAY too much..

Yeah man.. I love my truck as well. If there was a flesh light mounted to my truck I'd fuck it all night long.

 

Anyone know where I can find a write up on installing extended brake lines?
