PS. on a side note, I was contacted by a member that apparently the mfg had a couple double harnesses in my order that I didn't notice, so some of you might have gotten a harness for 2 lights, so either clip off the connector and tape them off, wire nut them or whatever, or leave for whenever you get another light to hook up.

The harness came with a deutsch connector, but the lights don't since there is so many applications people use them for, so you can either cut off the connector and wire directly to the light, or hit the local parts store and grab the female end.

 

Glad you posted that. I was confused about that strange connector. I'm also going to use a different switch for my lights. But on the switch that comes with it there are three wires going into it. Do you know what colors are for what, Zilla?

I don't have one in front of me, is it red black and ?? there is a white and blue I believe and the go into the relay

 

With the 40" bar mounted to the roof, what gauge wire would you guys recommend? And would you recommend a relay?

 

just stick with the same size wire that is on the light, and your harness comes with a built in relay and inline fuse!

 

I've run out of wire and gonna have to order some, which is why I'm asking. Do you happen to know the gauge off hand?

 

I'm pretty sure it's 14

 

There is a blue, a black, and a white for the switch.

 

all lights have shipped (except for 1 e check that hasn't cleared yet), but all tracking info is on paypal.
The e check order will ship when it clears tomorrow.

 

black is ground
white is power
blue is power for the led lights in the switch

Hopefully this weekend Ill have the 2x2's installed on the H3 and im just waiting on my new bumper before I put the 20" on my truck

Can anyone tell me what the purpose is for the 2 small, small Allen bolts that go on the light brackets?

that's what I've come up with, they actually put the same bolt packet in all lights, single double, etc. I think it just saves them time and money vs. having to put different packs in various light boxes.

 

I used them as set screws.....there is a small threaded hole right below where the light attaches to each of the brackets....

 

Can someone who has their lights take a picture of end of the lights so I can figure out how to design a custom bracket for my roof?

 

Look at nfab light bar roof mount for a raptor, that is what I'm working with a fab guy for the cherokee's, since nfab wasn't interested in helping me out with it.

That's exactly what I'm doing. I just need to figure out what the end cap on your lights look like so I can have it fabbed appropriately.
