Depends on what CA law has to say about them using their vehicle as a deadly weapon against you, and if you can articulate that you were in fear of imminent serious bodily injury.

Is riding a bike drunk really against the law? Or are you referring to a motorcycle?

You did the right thing, and yes they take the calls seriously, at least in my area. I've called a few times and each time a cop was there very quickly. I don't like doing it, never was one to tattle but dui ain't no joke. it's sad how many grown adults will go out and have a few drinks and drive home.

If he hits you first, I guess....? Why would you start playing bumper cars to settle a little pissing match?

This is why my shifter knob is a de-milled grenade. *If people give me shit on the road, I can unscrew it, roll the window down, go to pull the pin, and by that time they should back off*. My buddy did that with his shifter grenade quite successfully lol :quickdraw:

*NOTE: I haven't actually done this yet. I don't even have my shifter yet, my buddy is working on it*

These are all good comments, and I'm enjoying reading them..

I know it's all relative but like I said, it just amazes me how I drove the entire Alcan with no incidents at all. The last few days I've been tailgated, cutoff, etc. Sure, I know that the traffic is all relative being close to a densely populated area, but still. WTF.

Believe me man, I was the first to chase after someone for cutting me off, tailgating me etc; and stuff like this still pisses me off to no end. Friend of mine had a .45 pulled on him after a road rage incident had escalated.

Bottom line - I know that it feels good to brake check, chase after/scare the asshole who road raged you... But, in the end is it really worth possibly causing an accident/trashing your truck, etc. to prove a "point".

    Not trying to flame anybody...

I don't drive a hot rod. If someone is enough of a dick to drive like an asshole, I pull over and let them go. So be it...

My question was rhetorical in the sense that I was not in a pissing match or trying to one-up somebody, anyways, it's over in the LEO BS thread to toss around

Sounds like she's talking about a motorcycle, and yes, operating any vehicle or any motor vehicle whilst intoxicated is against the law.
