i know when i went to the STT ambassadors bbq this fall, they had nothing but good words toward my truck...they had me pull up next to the tent to make the event look better actually :D

but you'll get that anywhere with the toyota vs jeep thing...hell even you did it calling them heep owners...

we're all guilty of it, but programs like this helps to promote the community as a whole which is very nice

    Speaking of sun damaged headlights.

Mine were pretty bad so I got one of those headlight restore kits from autozone. I think it was the turtle wax brand. Really just looked for a cheap one with sanding pads and rubbing compound. Actually worked really well. No more haze along the top of the headlight. Its an easy fix for anyone who has the same problem.

Harbor freight has the headlight restore kits for like 6 bucks too. Used one on my old honda civic and it worked for a couple years, after so long i think it needs to be done on the regular.

I'm pretty bummed... I dislocated my left shoulder last night playing hockey. Never suffered this injury before and I was in some brutal pain before it popped back into place after about five minutes.

Going to see the orthopedic surgeon tomorrow to get it checked out. Very bummed after reading stories about people who can't lift weights or play sports for six months or more. Damn... But every person is different I guess.

    Trying to stay positive. :(:(

Thanks Phil. This sucks! At least it wasn't my right (dominant) arm/shoulder. I'd have a tough time doing anything...including wiping my own a$$! Haha

Haha nope it wasn't a beer league cross check from behind this time!

I was chasing a puck into the corner, lost an edge and crashed into the boards with my left shoulder first. Knew something was wrong and sat on the bench for a few minutes before the pain really set in.

First shift and that happened. Didn't even break a sweat!

ha ha ha ha, let me tell you from personal experience. Learning to wipe your ass switch stance or non dominant handed sucks bigtime!!!! i never felt like i got a good wipe ha ha ha:D:D

I had shoulder surgery when i first moved out here, broke my collar bone clean off out at the joint, doc's had to open me up and grind the bone down and then wrap it with fiber wire to get it to set.

seriously get better soon man, till then get the girl to give you lots of goodies, sammiches, and ice cream!!!

Shit man. I've played puck for 13 years now and I've seen this happen a bunch. Just sucks that happened to you tho! What rink do you play at? Family fun center on arapahoe or the ice ranch over off 470?

yep, back to normal now. cept the big S shaped scar. i would recommend the ortho but the offices are up in boulder and avista in broomfeild area.

You should be ok after a little bit to lift and stuff, the only thing in find myself not being able to do is dips because it flexes that area to much.

I play at Ice Ranch and Magness/Joy Burns and do the weekly drop-in at Family Sports on Araphoe/Peoria.

We should play some puck when I heal up!

Word. Just tough trying to stay positive. Will know tomorrow though.

Never had surgery before, aside from getting my wisdom teeth removed from under the gumline when I was 18, so I'm pretty scared if surgery is the preferred route.

A small handful of select mods.
So that's what I did wrong on the wife's 4 runner. Restored them nicely but within a year they started to haze again. She has new head lights now but good to know this tip.
