My fitting started to strip and I didnt want to risk it. Are the fittings made of aluminum or something?

 

haha yes i do and im not at a branch, im at a fulfillment office on chandler blvd and dobson. and we have a bunch of G4s guards, probably a total of 6 just for my building.

I go to that bank all the time as its a few miles from my house.

 

Not exactly sure but the are soft as fuck. Same with fuel lines and such.

 

I wish we had a post like that, here in Tucson. All we have a CCA, and it's only one guard.

Cleaned my MAF and Throttle body today. My truck feels like it appreciated it based on what came out of the throttle body. That shit was straight black.

 

is a Locking Gas cap worth it. im moving to AZ soon. i dont want to get my gas stolen!

 

Kinda depends on where you live. But if there is a lock available for it....there is a reason to lock it.

 

I warmed mine with a torch real quick and they came apart easy after that.

 

no. half the time they don't seal right and through check engine codes.

 

And the 2nd gens have a mesh in the fill tube to keep people from siphoning the gas out, so a locking cap will mostly work to keep people from putting things in your gas tank

 

And I have never met a "locking gas cap" I couldn't get off with a flat head.

Does anyone have a suggestion for rear diff fluid for the 2nd Gen?

I know Chris has a thread on here somewhere of him changing it out, but I can;t remember where I found it.

I am also having the damndest time finding it in the stupid manual.

EDIT... Nevermind, that magical search thingy helps a lot sometimes....

 

On a different note, I am going to be doing some regular maintenance to my truck this weekend if anyone wants to hang out.

 

i need to do the same.... where do you plan on doing this?
