I'm hoping to keep this till at least 200k. That is if I can break my old habit of trading vehicles anywhere from 6mo - 2 years lol. Really the only reason I'd trade this up for now is a 4x4 version, which is what I should have done to start. I still want a low fast car on the side though (wrx or get a vr4 working). I'm at 19k just under and not even a year so.. we'll see.

Had 360,000 (original engine) on a 90' 4 banger Toyota pickup. It was still running beautifully until I got T-boned in an intersection. Had a 91 same make, had 175K or so on it. Sold it to get the current one. Ill keep this one for a long time, or until i have kids to cart around. Toyota's ROCK.

I just sold my 2000 Tacoma 2wd ext cab with only 43,000 mi. It ran great and looked like new. I was able to get a good deal on a new 08 4X4 DC a few months ago. Sold the 00 to my brother - he plans to drive it for 4-5 years and give it to his son.

I'm going to keep my 2006 until it falls apart. I have 2 people asking me now to sell it to them with 42,000 miles on it, it's just barely broken in. Time to start the mods now.

I had my 98 4X4 xtra cab for 11 years and 200K before trading it in for an 09 in Feb... gas and oil with tires every 3-4 years were all i had to do the whole time. that thing was a beast. i hope to God this one lasts as long.

I love my taco -- I will probably bury it in my backyard -- I had a 92 Hilux 4X4 and it had 400,000 miles on it and I had to get rid of it because the frame had collapsed at the leaf spring. there is no better built truck.

My 2000 has 161,000 on it and I will probably trade it in sometime this summer. No problems with it I just want a second gen and need a 4 door. I bought it with 4 miles on it and only had to replace the exhaust manifold. Great trucks!
