iPhone. Obviously I'm biased, you bring up valid concerns except for the service. All iPhones come with a 1 year warranty. It does not cover damage or loss. If it is not damaged and there is a problem they will repair or replace the phone for free. If it is damaged, you will pay for the replacement (around $200).

Wife has an iPhone 5. I have a Motorola RAZR m. I recently upgraded from a droid x that was 3 years old. I would rather have the droid, since iTunes will rearrange all of your music for you. If you don't have many songs, its OK, but I have about 80Gb if music. Kinda upset me a little bit. I get a longer battery life, and don't need any special adapters to plug it into use it. If it were up to me, get the droid.

Notice how not a single iPhone vote has given you any reasons why....

Has that not been hashed out enough over the last 5 years?

You can read any number of reviews, ask iphone owners in person, walk into an apple store and get a demo or just borrow one and try it. Not much point in arguing about it here. More of a ford VS chevy argument if you ask me.
Then again, I am biased, like I mentioned :D

I Just got my iPhone last week. Went from a galaxy s. so far prefer the iPhone over the droid. With the droid I was replacing it every 5-6 months due to POS syndrome. Never broke it. Always something wrong in the phone. Time will tell if iPhone is better. So far, yes.

Got my 5 a Couple of weeks back I Think it's great but then again I am coming from a phone that was over three years old and such a piece of shit anything would probably be great I have the AppleCare which covers most things internally plus Sprint has now offered a warranty which is like 6.99 a month which covers lost stolen broken from damage just like all their other phones And I'm not really into iTunes I have zero songs in my iTunes I do still have my Pandora which is free Just love the capability love the way it works I don't have any issues like I did with my droid

I went with a droid before iPhone and had to have the phone replaced 2 times within a year due to the OS crashing. Had it for a little over a year and got a call from Verizon saying I was eligible for an early upgrade so I went in that day and got an iPhone 4. Loved it ever since I got it 2 years ago and still do

Anything is an upgrade from the original galaxy. What's unfair to Android is that its a software that multiple companies use or tweak. So one company may have shitty hardware or use hardly any RAM and it gives Android a bad name. Most of the Android phones from 2 yrs ago have always suffered from memory issues. My HTC EVO has lasted longer than than any iPhone in the same environment. It's 2 yrs old and my only complaint is the battery is finally giving out.

You can't compare a cheap Android phone that a carrier gives out for free with a 2 yr contract to an iPhone that someone pays 3-500 for. That's like comparing a denali silverado to a Ford ranger....

So are you wanting to start to a debate? Everyone is just giving their opinions and experiences.

Not saying that at all. Just seems like when someone says that they like their iPhone or had bad experiences with their droid you have something to say in return that depicts the droid as being the better of the 2. Not trying to argue and start anything.
