    Back when I worked at discount tire we would kick the sidewall on the top. If that didn't work we used the top of a sledge hammer to the same place (always with one hand right up under the head of the hammer). If that didn't work it was crawl under the car and hammer the lower sidewall from the back with the sledge hammer (again holding with one hand right under the head).

    Once we got it off we would buff the back of the wheel.
