    It's ticketable...and has to be at least 18" off the ground (Aaron?)

    I think, in my experience its more or less of a PC to stop and talk to the driver to see what they're up to...or unless u drive a Honda or Acura...ticket hammer lol

    I have from cops in the past on other vehicles. I think it's okay to put on the dash. I will be finding a way to fasten it on soon, but I'm trying to find a good place.

    not ok on dash .... the guy whos a cop who posts here advised me of this when I first got co plates .... ca the fines $10 if you "fix it" ... co its over $100 so i aint fucking with it i put my shit on

    But I will say my roommate from GA has been here for 2 years and has a passat with no mount and hasnt gotten hassled for it being on the dash ... and he just got a ticket a couple weeks ago for running a red and the cop didnt say anything about it ... so im unsure how aggressivey its enforced i just am not trying to chance it

    Additional reason i run it, tint is darker than colorado limit ... from what im told you cant be pulled over soley for tint but i figure if i get rolled for something else the tint may get overlooked if i am complying with all other laws

    Never was pulled over for not having one ever. I just put one on my runner because the parking homos kept giving me parking tickets lol. Bastards. I started parking in curbs down town so they had a different reason to write me a ticket. :)

    I used two zip ties on my winch so I can break it off if I need too.

    It won't but it makes me feel better. :)

    Or I would park it right at the end of my drive way do they could see it but not do anything lol. They ticket the fuck out if my street because the street sweeper is said to come the 2nd Friday of every month on my side. I have never seen the street sweeper but have seen many get tickets.
