    Same issues here.

    Mine are D load, but they still have a slight vibe between 60-70. They came on the FJ wheels I bought used. Ive put about 11k miles on them and it hasnt changed.

    I am getting new tires this Friday. Hankook dynapro atm's. $134.75 a piece from Town Fair Tire.

    If anyone wants a set of 4 265/75/16 BFG's AT's shoot me a pm.

    Who's balancing your tires?
    What kind of balancer are they using a spin or road force?
    Have you checked for improper wear?

    I would have them road force balanced.

    Also why are you guys buying load E. those are for full size 3/4 to 1 ton trucks. Not a tacoma. Like I said BFG is not the issue it's the mounter or the sensitive truck.

    60= too slow
    65= ??
    70= bad mpg

    What about 65

    Keep in mind, I just bought the glass, not the whole mirror assembly. The whole mirror is like $250 I believe. Mutcho and the ones Rob sells through LKQ are good aftermarket options if you want heated mirrors with the option of a turn signal integrated.

    also there is some sort of special part, call the Balance / Haweka Adapter, that goes on the balancer for toyota rims that some shops do not have and they balance the tires anyway, but it's hard to get them right. I went through this a couple times before I figured it out. I know town fair tire has the proper tools to do it. You can google it if you have more questions.

    I just went with the heated handgrips but may switch them out at some point. They work, but you only have a 2x3 section of the mirror that defrosts until the entire mirror heats up. Its better than nothing, but not perfect

    I tried that and screwed mine up bad. That's what forced me to buy new glass.

    That's false. The plate is just for lug centric wheels. Nothing new here. Put the wheel on all centered and tighten it up. I bet you have and out of round tire even if new. Like I said get a road force done. Btw TFT is a joke.

    I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
    I agree about the road force balance. Even if its just the machine, they are soooooo much better than a normal spin/high speed balancing.

    I think it would be a waste of 100 bucks. I've never had bfg's that rode well.. Tire warehouse has the cheapest prices and good equipment... Around me at least. Plus you can watch everything they do which is a plus for me.

    a hundred bucks WTF where do you go? High speed balance will tell you the issues such as the roundness of the tire, out of round and any imperfections of the tires.

    As for that plate adapter its just a plate with a bunch of holes that we thread studs into then attach the autoclamp

    If you want the best balance pay the money and find a shop with a Hunter GSP9700

    Not like a funny haha joke either. More like someone gave you a wedgie till your ass bled.

    I went there a couple times with stock sized tires didnt have much of a problem other than them forgeting about me waiting.

    They have f"ed me over twice with larger than stock tires, i thought the first one was an honest mistake. Then they waited till the point of no return the second time before they told me i had to put my new rims and tires on myself (in the parking lot with a hi-lift on a hill) So i could get it alligned. On top of that my tires never ballanced because the tech put an ungodly amount of wheel weights on...
