    same shit as everyone else
So if your wire shorts out it'll kill the circuit before it over heats and possibly a fire. Circuit protection is as close to the source as possible. Anything before the fuse is not protected.

I was trying to think of the right word and it was escaping me. I was trying to talk about peak vs continuous amp draw.

I'm using the stock fog light wiring and I'm probably asking for things to catch on fire sometime

    That didn't take long

If I can't get one on TW, I'll probably go through 4wheelparts and sell my tonneau later

    Or this

Don't know where I would put the windows on the Bestop when its folded up so I think I'll go with the Softopper.

On a side note, is there any way to delete a thread you have previously made???

kk may be a problem - i'm thinking possibly a Fuel Pump Issue:

After work i got in my truck and turned the key, it was turning over but not catching. I tried turning it over twice for about 10 seconds each and no luck. So i pumped the gas pedal a couple times and tried it again. This time it seemed like it wanted to catch. So i turned it over again while pumping the gas pedal and wallllah!! But immediately when it caught it sounded boggy so i revved the engine to 3.5k and once then idle came down it was as good as new.......

I'm not sure if it's a sign of the Fuel Pump going out of perhaps i was low on gas, but my Reserve light wan't on. And this has happened 3 times in the last year.

    Any IDEAS?

Sorry, just giving extra options what could be out. I would run a bottle of injector cleaner through it once. Cheaper than dropping the fuel tank first. Maybe go and rent the fuel pump pressure checker from Autozone?

    Check out these parts:

Mass air flow sensor for cleanliness
    O2 sensor for cleanliness
    Spark plugs
    Air filter
    In line fuel filter
    Throttle body cleanliness

Some easy stuff to check out before getting to deep. A can of brake clean or throttle body cleaner will help out.

This is if the injector cleaner doesn't go anywhere!!

Air filter was just cleaned, i haven't replaced the plugs but i want to. Either way i don't think spark is my problem here. I just replaced the O2 sensor....
I feel like it's harder to diagnose because it's an automatic.

I just saw my father in law replace his brothers fuel pump. The problems he was encountering doesn't sound like yours. He could only creep along at 10-20mph since the filter in the pump wasn't allowing enough fuel. Only had a few hard starts, but nothing like you are talking about.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!

I have a full-size extinguisher under the driver's-side rear seat in the storage bin. There should be enough room in yours too, since you have a DC.

I want to make up some mounts for the rails though, since I have a bunch of T-Slot nuts, and Quick-Fists waiting to be used.
