    Yea the main thing I'm worried about is the rear drive shaft and I haven't had any luck finding a spare. To get mine re tubed will be over $500 and I don have that right now.
    I have to head out Friday and drive straight home. I've got enough armor and shit to take a beating, but I'm not gonna wheel like I do locally.

    I rolled in last year on thursday night to a drunk guy running accross camp with a stick on fire, haha. People will definitely be up when you roll in. Dogs are ok in some places; however, there are a few trails that go to areas where dogs are not allowed. Can't remember which ones those were though. I think Bob knows?

    Also, there are some really easy trails out there that have amazing scenery that you could do with confidence on your own. Onion Creek comes to mind. Any of the 'easy' trails on the first page could be done in a stock truck. With your lift and tires, they're a walk in the park. Some guys went on some pretty cool hikes last year, too. You could also do that to extend your trip and make the most of it if everyone bails.

    That sounds like a plan! In the non-dog friendly places, maybe I can just keep them in the bed of the truck and let them run around when we get back to camp/whatever.

    only non-dog friendly areas are within the national parks...so canyonlands and arches

    so with dogs, white rim and elephant hill are out of the question..you will not get past the guard house with dogs in there...

    buuuuuuuutt...there are back ways into both canyonlands and elephant hill that do not pass by guard houses :spy:


    i had my two dogs out there last year on every trail i went on...and had them staked at camp

    White Rim is a really easy trail that is amazingly scenic. 90 mike trail that we broke into 2 days last year. Have to get reservations for camp sites in advance though and would possibly be no dogs though... no guard shack that I recall on the one side. Not sure of a way to bypass the one on the other side though.

    Weak links as in the axles i can snap like tooth picks. then the ocasional rack and pinion that breaks, or if i push it hard enough and the center pin in the rear diff, every now and then a lower ball joint and it hasnt happened to me yet but i hear the inner tie rods break too. so i have spares for all that. basically a spare front end. i also am bringing down a spair front ring and pinion just cuz i have it.

    Only with super sharp turns and even then a few mini turns will do it. But yeah, Trail Limo's FTMFW! I am glad a DCLB Silver will be coming. Out here in Az at our last meet, we had more than half silver tacos and more than half of that DCLB. To bad I sold my shell and built a rack, we could have been twinsies.

    mostly the 35's like brady said but the SC deff. doesnt help with the stress but what really make the cvs easy to break is my front locker. put that bad boy in and expect on tire to pull the entire truck up a ledge and :ohsnap:
    im gonna push my wheel base out another 14 inchs when i sas it.
