I ordered some camburg 4" spindles for my 2wd. Apparently I have committed a crime

I'm actually shooting for 4" of total lift. Gonna have to adjust my coil overs down. Also I will be doing a write up of the install and post lots of pics. :D

if you put a long travel lift on a 2wd and make it a desert trophy truck its cool. other than that you get a road cruiser. the point of a lift is for performance off road. i know ppl off road 2wd trucks and it would be worth the money if you off road your truck. but your truck is yours.

You know whats dumb. when someone buys a 4x4 without the attention of wheeling it or you don't live in the north (Snow). and lifts it thats no diffrent from us 2wd guys lifting our truck for aesthetic purposes.

I plan on lifting my Taco just a couple inches. My parents and in-laws live in rural areas where paved roads are not an option. I would love to explore back roads with my soon-to-be lifted 2WD. Until then, I am enjoying looking at pics of other lifted Tacos 2WD and 4X4!

A lifted Taco in general is AWESOME!:mudding:

sorry if i offended anyone, but i def. wouldnt do it. if i was gonna lift a truck, it would be a 4X4. IMO, id rather lower a 2wd truck than lift it.

    uhh...everything? lol
you know whats funny, watching me drive around people who are stuck in the mud/sand giving it hell in 4wd while im in 2wd :)

I actually have a front driveshaft now, but for a long time i didnt and everyone always said "whats the point of lifting it like that and not having 4wd thats stupid, it cant even go places my stock 4wd can go".....dumbasses.

Nothing wrong with lifting a 2wd, nothing at all. As a matter of fact i wish i had a LT prerunner with a 9in/Detroit in the back, would go everywhere i want on the trails and drive really nice on the road. At any rate, dont listen to people who talk shit about 2wds...a locked rear will follow 4wd with open diffs all day

Lowering a truck is like removing a mans nuts and feeding it to a dog, your no longer a man.
