Zombie Apocalypse Show isn't Real Enough (The Walking Dead on AMC)

A good way to cameo would be a scene of a group on a hillside with a vantage point into the prison. The scene could just show them looking through some binoculars and see Rick and friends fighting other hostiles, or being swarmed by walkers.

Then they can say something along the lines of, "Poor bastards. Hopefully they meet a quick death." and then continue on their trek elsewhere. Or simply, "Let's keep moving." and ignore that group.

So to keep in line and not disturb the comic fans with new outside characters, it could just be a viewing from a distance.

 

She seems to like his disgusting prick.

 

I don't see the Governor being knocked off anytime soon. The battle with Woodburry will last well into the second half of this season, and probably into the next. For you comic book guys, wasn't the Governor a pretty significant character in the books?

I'm curious who is going to end up on each side of the battle. Daryl, Merl, Andrea, The Doctor (I think he is going to play a larger roll than anyone realizes)? I feel like "Team Prison" needs to add some muscle... and they are sure to loose a least a couple members in the initial fight with Woodburry.

... and I've already gone on record that I firmly believe that we haven't seen the last of Lori.

 

He's easily the most fucked up villain in the series. But the show version doesn't even come close to how sick and twisted he is in the comics.

If they follow the comic to any degree with his demise...

The governor dies when Rick's group get's kicked out of the prison. Seeing as they haven't even gotten as far as Rick losing a hand (which I HIGHLY doubt they would cut from the show) then it could be a while until the governor get's what's coming.

I don't think they will do that to Rick. I believe Merle or Hershel is filling in for what happens to Rick.

 

Maybe I should toss Maggie and /or Glen into this mix, odds numbers anyone?

 

Hershel is filling in for Dale. But I really hope Merle isn't filling in for Rick...

You think so. I really believe Hershel's leg is the symbol for ricks comic fate. It shows michonne finding penny next week. And if they follow the comic who is gnna be Martinez. To help find the prison.



Oh wait never mind Maggie spilled the beans on the location

 

In the comic book Rick cut off Allens leg the same way he took Hershels in the show but Allen died. Dale lost his in the infirmary by actual surgical means not an axe and he survived. So basically Hershel took a combination both Allen and Dale's fate.

 

I don't think they will do it to Rick.

im not completely sure but i think one of the talking dead episodes last season they talked about how merle's hand was to pay homage for the comics..... i could be misremembering though...

Kirkman or whatever also kind of hinted that they write by the seat of their pants, it's not entirely planned out what will happen (pretty common) and that a few issues after Rick's *comic info* hand was gone *end* they would often say "wouldn't it be cool if Rick, oh wait, he can't...right"

 

(Having read the spoiler) My call: Merl goes eye for an eye on Rick.

 

Anybody thinking they will kill glen and Maggie.

 

If they kill Maggie and Glen, I'm out.
