I can get 2 weeks off for work at one time.

I figure I'll have about 10 days to work with. You gotta remember it takes 2 days to go and 2 more to return, so 14 all total.

Should be enough to do all the tings we've talked about doing.

 

10 days...

3 days for Morrison and goose and reload BBQ

3 days at lander

4 for the Dolores

Something like that??

 

I don't think so. Most will drip off and the rest will evaporate within seconds.

Edit: Its not that corrosive. I've used on plenty of rubber pieces without any issues at all. And it is very effective at cleaning up grease after the excess has been wiped up.

 

Yeah, something like that.

All I'm sayin is that 10 days of exploring should be plenty.

How early do we have to set date for you to take off work??

 

My boss never hassles me over stuff like this. I will have to coordinate with another guy there because he will carry the load while I'm gone. Not to worry tho, he already owes me big time. I've pretty much already told him the entire month of August is fair game.

We will be able to have a pretty good idea of how harsh a winter it was by late spring/early summer. We can narrow down the dates then.

What do you do for work Mike?

 

The company I work for is primarily a publisher of training materials for pilots and aircraft mechs. In addition to printed books, we sell test prep software, ebooks and have several flight simulator products.

I do tech support for the end users of our simulators, software and ebooks for Windows, and Macs and some for mobile devices, tablets and phones for android and iThing OSs.

im thinking grease and clamps but i think just buying boot kits will be cheaper esp if we use my discount

 

Hey guys got two questions sorta,

1. I'm looking at getting a tablet for school. Anyone have opinions on ipad vs andriods vs the new surface vs any others? I would like to be able to read, type on wood and excel and even be able Yup draw on the same page for notes.

2. Sometime tonight or tomorrow this fundraiser i an participating on will seems me a link, you guys gottavote for me for having the best mustache lol.

 

I like my iPad but my dad likes his Xoom.

 

IMO tablets are useless for school. Especially if you have to use excel. Alot of programs you will use in conjunction with excel for classes wont be supported on an ipad. They are fun to play around on, but if you are actually doing a project or getting work done a laptop is the best choice. And as far as notes go, don;t take notes on a laptop or tablet, its been proven that you retain and learn less when u take notes on a laptop vs actually writing them down. just my 2c
