    Oh ok i gotcha yeah my dad cut weight fast and hes 40 now but he cut down quick and built muscle way fast, im 5'11 165lbs. Since i was 16 ive gained about 5 pounds total but have lost the body fat and gained muscle, lately i havent been working out and dieting like I used to so ive lost some muscle quickly, usually around this time of year I get strict on diet and hit the gym hard, but I lack some motivation which I truely think is the most important part of exercising...

    That was the problem for me... During my high school years i was in the 130 pound range, i might of put a couple pounds on but nothing dramatic... Now I'm 22 I weigh 163pounds and 5"8 with a low Body fat percentage.

    Well at the same time remember everyone is different, digestive system, regular weight storage, metabolism. Genetics play a good role.

    I'm aware of that. That's why I asked about carb sensitivity was there....I started off at 215+. Full aware of metabolism, genetics etc.

    Yeah I gotcha, I was thinking about cutting out cardio and just liftig weights but i cant stop running cause my gf is a track girl and honestly makes me look like a bitch when it comes to running haha but i dont think 12-15 minutes of running really cuts out weight and only about a mile and a half that i run in that time

    40g or less is for leaning at the end. As long as you keep protein and calories up you should lose too much muscle

    Lol Well as far as the cardio goes thats completely individual for physical conditions. I have some Amateur bodybuilders who do very little cardio while i know some who do an hour a day 7 days a week. IMO some may need more cardio than others to drop extra pounds.
