Hello from Louisiana, well at least that's where my ups box mailing address is. About 4 years ago I started traveling and have had the fever ever since. The more places I go the more places I want to see. I'm lucky you see, I work a job that works a 28 and 14 schedule. I work 28 days straight ( eat, sleep, shower and shave at work) and then I'm off for 14 days to go where ever I decided to go. Once I started traveling more and more I realized that I was spending little to no time at home. I was basically living on the road, so last January I made a decision that has changed my life dramatically, I decided to move into a truck. The truck I chose was a 2011 double cab 4x4 taco. I have been slowly setting the truck up to support my life style where my mountain bike, kayak, hiking, camping, and photography gear is always on board. It is changeling sometimes but the rewards of the places I get to see are well worth it. When I first made the decision to move on the road I contemplated a fancy motor coach, and or a traveler trailer but I decided on a Tacoma and a 12x12 cabin tent. Why you ask? well if I decide to travel to new York city, I'm not looking for a place to park a 40' motor coach, only a normal size small pickup. If I decide to go to big bend np and decided to camp on one of the road side camping spots that requires 4x4 to get to, again I'm still good. To make a long story short I'll be slowly posting the changes of my truck from stock fourm to the total expedition truck I have in my mind. Good day, Brandon

Roof top tent is on the list, will be mounted on the top of the cabin thou, the bed is all ready taken up by my mountain bike, kayak rack, and gear stored below. If I put the bike on top the truck a tree branch some where will claim her

Looks like you're off to a great start. You should start a build page so we can track the progress.
