    Stock or aftermarket. Doesnt matter...unless you ran different backspace on front and rear which you wouldn't....I had stock wheels when I first did spindles and had 1.25" all the way around...with new wheelsnthe offset was so much it made my front ti wide so I removed them

    So if I ran stock rims what's the smallest spacer I could use to make it work? Sorry for all these questions, I'm sure I could find it somewhere but I'm too lazy right now :eek:

    The problem with running spacers in the front are you ned to ensure there is enough threads left for the lugs to catch. Which is why most just rune the 1 1/4" spacers because the have lugs on them.

    You can run sidertrax on the front and be fine...the all pro ones dont engage as much

    The smallest spacers available, unless you get custom ones made, are 0.75" Bora spacers. These are good spacers and are hub centric.

    With the 0.75" push out due to the spindles and if decided to run the 0.75" spacers, you're looking at 1.5" out per side. You could match the front with the back with 1.5" spacers or use 1" for a slightly smaller stance in the rear which I don't think looks bad at all.

    For the front and back spacers you are looking at about $200 as far as cost. Eventually when you save up the money for new wheels, you could remove the 0.75" spacers in the front and put them in the back and sell the 1.5s.

    FYI, using a spacer smaller than 1" requires the lugs to be shaved down a bit so they don't stick out beyond the width of the spacers. This is why most go with either the 1" or the 1.25".

    Anybody have negative experiences with spacers? I feel like it used to be a topic of discussion, not so much anymore.

    As long as they are machined to the correct specifications, fitment is nice and good, and you don't go too wide with them, there really shouldn't be any issues.

    I've used them in the past with not issues at all.

    Thinking about going down to a 265/75/16 on my Tacoma. Anyone running this size tire or know of anyone running this size tire on their Tacoma with the Maxtrac spindles? Definitely don't want to go down to that size if it is going to look goofy....

    You going with 315/70/17s?

    I have a set that will be going on as soon as I get everything else lined up. So curious on what the overall track width will be once all said and done. I'll be looking at about 4.75" per side from stock, which isn't that bad considering that will be with spindles and 12" wide tires. This will be just under the guys with the 3.5" kits without spindles and 35's.
