We have to wait until after Dec. to see that the deal is with the group buy.

Even if we only save $5 a tire, I want this to happen.

If this happens may have to get an extra for a spare. Just tested my 4 new Gaurd Dog MTs on a 200 mile trip to school and they work great. Not the best on road tire but thats obviously not what they are meant for :D

    OK, update time.

I talked to Treadwright today via email and had a few differences with the situation, nothing major, but in the end i told her i would make 1 final attempt with these back tires. WELL, come to find out, the machine i was using on Friday was F%*#ed up:mad:!!! I used a different machine (we have 3), calibrated it, made sure 100% it was on Static balance, and went to work. The 2 rears now came out to 4.5oz and 6.25oz. Mch much better and hopefully gonna be a better ride on my way home tonight.

SOOO much nicer on the ride home, now i have to redo the fronts AGAIN hopefully for the last time and all shall be good in the world!:D

Broken equipment is what happens when you work in a shop of 30 techs and only about 1/2 of them give a damn about where they work.

 Might be interested in a set of 285/75-16 Wardens....Ive been thinking about stepping up to 285s for a while now. Anybody know the weight difference between a 285 retread and a regular 285? Im interesting in saving some MPGS if i do go up to 33s

4-6 lbs per tire depending on what tire you compare it to.

these are great off road tires, but definately not for you if you want to save fuel.

put a 1000 highway/interstate miles on mine traveling for thanksgiving. At this point, I'm strongly considering ditching the KM2s on my Tacoma and putting a set on it too. Handled better than the KM2, night and day better in rain and snow too. I'm pretty sold on them, aside from road noise. I can live with road noise though ;)
