what's your truck geared with? i don't wanna sound dumb, but i feel like i read somewhere that my truck has 4.10 gears in it for some reason, but i very well could be wrong.

not sure. i thought the TRD OR had 4.10 as well, but not sure.

It's not about power, its about torque. I have more torque with 4.88s. And we can't even compare our trucks anyway.

Ur truck does have 4.10s and Zachs truck has 3.73s

 

and oh, i thought i had 4.10s.

Hahaha that's funny. And yeah the v6 have 3.73, the 4cyl have 4.10

 

So I'm not crazy...i love being in 4lo and being able to practically idle down a flat dirt road, and barely gas it to climb stuff. I've not done it much, but there was a small access road on our hunting lease that I got to try it on.

i hardly gave it gas at royal blue when it was flat. i down shifted to 3rd for most of it. edit: and i was in 2wd for most of it.

Yeah, but I like the ability of 4lo to not have to hardly work the engine at all, except when you want speed.

 

But if you have a GA permit and move to TN, TN won't let you trade in the GA permit for a TN permit.

TN wants their money and have to take the TN approved test/class.

I paid < $80 total in GA for permit plus a voluntary class.

Yeah i traded my Indiana permit for a Tennessee permit 6 months ago. I had a lifetime permit there all paid and set for life. I came here and paid $75 (which lasted about an hour) for the class and a $50 renew fee to transfer. Now I have to pay $50 every 4 years too.

But it gets better don't forget about the TICS crap. $10 for every gun you buy. And $.10 for each box of ammo but at least the ammo tax goes to a good source, TWRA.

Oh well.....at least Tennessee is not like Illinois.
