Lol, there aren't ENOUGH Indigo Ink's in the world. So, I am sad to see mine go. I loved that color. Oh, well. Time to put myself on homer's waiting list.

Just swing by the house tomorrow on your way into work. I have an item or two for Jarod, and if he doesn't want one of them you can have. Stock front off-road mats. I'll give him my weathertech rears since it only fits access cabs.

Thanks Jarod for all the help today! Wouldn't even be thinking about being done yet if it weren't for you. I'll get pictures tomorrow of the truck with the lift on it.

Now, if anyone else wants it done... we need to make sure the whole truck is sprayed with PB blaster for a week prior.

Purple T, if wanting to change your suspension... please make sure you soak ALL suspension components with PB Blaster for a week prior.

Haven't decided. I may wait to see what it looks like with the retro's later on.

It's really not bad against the silver...the more I was looking at it yesterday, it kinda grew on me. Might be a bit busy with the retro graphics though.

I'm thinking of only doing the toyota on the back and the sides... maybe avoid the hood on this one? Or just do the fronts and leave the offroad stickers?

That is my thinking too. I may avoid the hood ones. I still love the toyota on the back. It would throw people off a lot more than on my old truck. Hopefully someone out of town buys it so I don't see it driving around like that.

Here you go Nick. I just need to debadge, and get some sockmonkey retros again. Also, may be in the market for a homer grill eventually.

    Brady,
Thanks for the heads up, but...that jeep has the wrong drive train for my wants. Up until 1990 jeep was putting the older model 4.0 in the Cherokee...it was the AMC/Renault-Bendix aka Renix engine. Also, the transmission is the Chrysler A904. Both of these are comparitively weaker than what they switched to in 1991...the Chrysler 4.0 HO, aka powertech 242. They also made the switch to the Aisin AW4 transmission, which is pretty much bullet proof. This design stayed pretty much the same henceforth until 1999 when the updated the head and intake manifold for a free-er flowing design. Also, in the 2000 model year they switched from a high pinion Dana 30 front axle to a low pinion Dana 30. There's more, but I don't want to bore anyone :D
^^^trans references are to the four speed auto only^^^

Given all if these factors I believe the cherry year for the XJ was/is 1999...that's what I'm after.
I could go on and on about the XJ, I know them inside and out.

    Good looking out though!
