Update of my beloved 2012 TRD OR 4x4.
As she sits now.



Here she is a few days after picking her up from the stealership and tinting the front windows.



Hated the chrome grille/bumper and missed having the scoop. Luckily, I found a local tw member who liked chrome better so we swapped grill/bumper and hoods this past weekend. I'm loving the color match parts so much better! Can't believe I found this deal! Makes me a happy camper. I also debaged the whole truck and plasti dipped the front Toyota emblem while removing the front mud flaps.




JBL speakers and a Pioneer 4400 head unit.



Pro Comp 7032 Rims from 4WP and BFG AT KOs from Discount tire 265/75/16.



Bilstein 5100s all the way around set at 1.75 up front. Also painted front calipers black.




Rear differential breather mod.



Got sockmonkey TRD OR black decals.

Thanks, I really can't believe my good luck either. The sport looks way better but I figured the off road was a better value. Now all I need is matching door handles and mirrors and it will be a sport.

 

Good for you man...truck looks great all color matched. You should paint your wheels...easy to do and they come out awesome if you take your time.

Just added the eibach/Toytec springs. Set the 5100s at 0.85 for a 2.5 inch lift. Rides a lot better then the 5100s set at 1.75 on stock springs.

 

how much total for your current suspension setup?

You should chop that antenna in half and jb weld the nipple back on. OR just take the damn thing off and use your ipod like I did.

Ha ha I do use the iPod! Yeah, I'm going to get a shorty antenna one of these days.

 

So far the ride is pretty good. A lot better the stock springs and shocks. Haven't taken her off road yet since I got the eibach springs installed.

 

I'm running 5100's in the front with OME coils with a plate bumper and it rides 100x better and I'm sure Andrew's 2012 rides 100x better than mine.

Mine kepted rattling loose on the trails. I have it under the back seats just in case. With XM, iPod, and CDs I'll be ok for my 10 minute commute to work.
