    We had 2 Foresters. I hated them both. Check out some of the Mazda offering too. They are zoom-zoomy.

    I guess the new Grand Cherokee's are out of the question. I didn't want to admit, but they are really nice. I would NEVER buy one for myself, but Erica loves hers.

    My friend is looking to also get one to possibly replace his loaded Sorrento that is having all sorts of problems (brakes failing, mysterious electrical problem that left him stranded in Texarkana and didn't get it back from the dealer there for 3 weeks, alignment issues). Surprisingly the Explorer and Traverse/Acadia are at the top of list currently. He really liked the Cadillac SRX (not actually a mid-size, smaller) but he didn't feel the size of the quality bump was worth it compared to the size of the price bump.

    That sucks. All we have done was had the camshaft position sensor go out. I think it depends on the engine size you get. I would have really liked her to have the 4.6 instead of the 5.7 she ended up with.
