DTRL insurance question?

So this actually happened a while ago when I first got the truck and obviously had to get it insured, but I was just thinking about it a little more since I was considering doing the mod now. When I called my insurance company, they asked me if I had daytime running lights? So I replied no, all I knew at the time was that it was a mod for headlights that I obviously had not done, and I didn't think any more about it. I'm just wondering if anyone else was asked about this, and whether they would have increased or decreased insurance rates for some reason?

 

i personally don't recall being asked this, but i would think they are an added safety feature, thus lowering your premium a few bucks, just my thoughts, not real positive

 

I get a discount for having them, as they are a safety feature.

Awe damn I was thinking about doing it. For some reason I thought it would raise it think they would lower it now if I called them and told them I had them now?
