    Well I dont really know when the first day or web training days are since it's all determined by snow conditions, but I will probably work weekends and if they do open I sort of need to be there

    Yeah there are rollers under the wheels. I think the hook up looks interesting. Looks like it bolts into some of the lug nuts or something. I imagine they will be just as expensive as those tri-track things that you swap with your wheels though... so pretty much out of the question... Plus it would make snow wheeling way too easy I think. haha. It appears they just stay pretty well on top of the snow the entire time in the video.

    Damn!! I just looked up the price of Mattracks. Almost $30000 for a set of 4!:eek: So maybe the TrackNGo's won't be as expensive, but probably still too pricey.

    Yeah you could pretty much go anywhere you wanted, but no one else could go with you unless they were able to afford a set too. haha.

    Like I said in the Oregon thread, I think they are more for the person aimed at getting to the destination and not as much on the snow wheeling. Would still be good for scenic trips, but I doubt that is enough to justify the cost. haha

    Yeah, but that is still pretty pricey. I bought all 4 of my tires for what 1 track costs. haha

    Why not many ppl have em haha very few people have the need for them.

    Plus they don't help that much as a super fat tire will provide more floatation

    Snow cats use their mega wide tracks and pack down the snow under them and then drive on that, or act as a snow shoe, with mega wide surface area. They dont need "float". The tracks for the truck, if designed right, will be proportional in width to the vehicle range they are on.

    Yeah, those tracks have way way more surface area to create flotation. That is why tracks were invented in the first place. Those Mattracks are 16" wide and are a flat surface instead of rounded like a tire, plus they are way longer than a tire is too. You're floatation is going to be proportional to the psi you are putting on the snow. The pressure will go up some because those tracks are much heavier than a normal tire, but the surface area has such a massive increase that it more than counters the extra weight.
