Yep. It's a damn circus up here. I had to drive over to incline at lunch and I ran out of fingers to count the spinnouts. Wet, sloppy, icey, nasty snow. I wouldn't even call it snow. It's more like....unflavored slurpy.

    No

    Yes

Dude...gig is up. The mod's know it's you:

Well now that I think about it, me driving your sweet truck is almost akin to me trusting you with my first born son. :D

    Hah!

I bet there'll be some intense flooding if it rains as much as predicted, and that's a huge jump in the water level there. Yikes.

Doing this tomorrow night in Alameda! An hour before the race you get a map so your team can plan the best route to hit the checkpoints. This one involves a bunch of Christmas lights. We'll probably do it as a run but might bike the long route.

LOL yeah i'll let you drive it just not when it's raining because my muddys have no traction at all even though they still have good thread.

We are going to take some kyaks and boogeyboards through the channel and see how far we can trek....

I see crowds of homeless people living on the river.... i dont think they will care if we are doing some school experiments and research on the flow of nearby lakes and water systems.

Oh that's true... But be careful. That one lady lost her husband and son in the river near your area during the heavy rains. And then there were two teenage boys. I think this was a year or two ago.

I know this will probably end up being serious but is anyone getting a kick out of the news reporter standing in 2 inches of water in a parking lot and calling it dangerous?

I'm not sure what they accomplish by doing that.

Anyway, I heard the WX guys talking about the Truckee and how they think it will be the fourth worst flood.

How are our friends who live up that way? Everyone OK?

Tis true. North shore lost power.
My buddy in incline texted me earlier as he had no power and no heat.

From what I hear, I'm in a very stable power area. The neighbors said they last time they lost power was 7 years ago during an ice storm.
