My westin bull bar I bought used for $50 turned out to be a great investment when I shwacked a deer. Saved me from a couple hundred in damage. But check out rockauto.com. They got good/cheap stuff just gotta have painted... As far as the hood there's never a better time to try carbon fiber wrap if you don't wanna pay paint prices :p

I need some help. I had a 3" kit from toytec (5100 bilstein set up) and LR UCA's put on with 17x9 MT wheels and MT ATZ Baja 315/65R17 tires. It looks awesome however it is rubbing the front mud flaps. I really don't want to have no mud flaps due to rocks hitting the paint. Now to my question/help.

The tire is hitting where the mud flap sticks out and the bubble (what I call it) area. Is there a mud flap that is flat I could use? Also, has anyone tried putting an additional top plate spacer on to bring it up alittle more to clear or almost clear the mud flaps?

I figured many have had this issue before me.

First off why 315/65? Normally 315 is a 70 for 17 to make it a 35. Best two to choose from are 315/70/17 or 285/70/17. A 1" body lift will help some and also definitely do the cab mount chop (if you do the 315's you'll take a lot off) and if you're going with the 315 probably trim your fenders as well. If you get the 285's you'll only need to take a bit off the cab mount and won't need the body lift.
