just gut the truck and start all over .

 

that sounds like a great idea...... not! haha. i didnt really miss power steering that much when i was in the sand. but when i pulled my truck off the trailer and was putting it in the back yard, it took all my power just to do a u-turn haha

so heres my list of shit i got to do...

diff drop
change my rear u bolt
yank my front diff (which means take apart my front end)
power steering pump
wire my midle kragen
wire dust lights
wire reverse lights
change rear diff oil
change engine oil
change transmission oil
longer hoses for several vaccum lines (my engine cage pulls them off sometimes)
overflow bottle for my radiator
repair my inner cv boot
fix my head light
fix my POS intake system

i think thats it......

front diffs out and ready to be taken to the shop, about all i got done this weekend, was a slooow one haha.

 

Did you pull just the spindles to take out the diff? Or arms and everything?

 

just unbolt the lower BJ from the spindle and arm, move spindle out of the way, yank axles, DS, then pull the diff.
i work pretty slow haha... id just rather do everything right.

my locking washer things for my fromt manual hubs are getting harder and harder to get off....
is there any easy ways you guys use to get them out?
i use a hammer....
