Right. Cuz 6 straight titles and 6 of the top 10 teams in the BCS happens by accident. You must be a fan of one of the teams the SEC beat...

Thank god uga didn't win and too bad bama didn't lose.

A few observations on my beloved Longhorns.
At the beginning of the season I predicted 2-3 losses. We still have a very young team 16 true frosh players getting significant playing time and only losing 9 seniors. Our defense was the biggest problem this year. we were in almost every game ou being the exception and the last 10 minutes of last nights game.

We will be much better next year and playing in a bcs game. Texas is down right now so every one get your licks in while you can because we are getting ready for another 10-15 year run of being in the the top 10 consistently.

    In conclusion.

    FUCK YOU WE ARE TEXAS!!!!

    Awesome by Saban.

This coming from someone from Louisiana? 6 in a row speaks for itself, regardless of the pending 7th.

X2, probably one of those teams that averages 50+ per game throughout the season then puts up 20 points tops vs an SEC team in an L. If you don't like the heavy SEC presence in the polls, root for your team a little harder and hope they "show up" in the big games, oh and don't lose to a lower ranked opponent at the end of the season.:jellydance:

Well since the time between the championship game and the last time they played is literally 40 years, I don't think those numbers matter at all, Bama is going to destroy them and it will be embarrassing

last time they played was 87..I agree these are two entirely different teams and eras. Alabama will be favored which is ok I like it when the underdog wins. Maybe everett golson can put a hurt on em like johnny football did.

How many titles has Bama won since ND won anything of significance? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say all those ND victories over Bama 40-50 years ago aren't gonna be weighing on Bama players/fans' minds

Yeah like Notre Dame beating Navy, or Purdue or BYU or Boston College or Wake Forest or PITT. Hurt on us??? A The only hurt is going to be Lacy and Yeldon running over the D. My avatar is going to be changing soon. # 15:D

    from a neutral perspective...

hard hit...clearly led with the helmet...

also.quarterback or not...he was not runnin in there to make a play, no need to lay a lick that hard. if murray was running full speed goin in for a tackle..id feel otherwise, but he was just jogging over with what looked like zero intent to make a play. much less could have been done to effectively block him instead of comin in hot head to head shot.

now had it been a cleaner hit, i may feel otherwise...but that was clearly helmet to helmet on what i would say was a defenseless player at the time.

also wasnt the play just about dead by that point?

I'm slightly biased, but, a few minutes earlier we were called for roughing the passer because we made contact with his head. Here, he clearly leads with his helmet, is a defenseless player (I don't much agree with that rule, but it is the rule to try and stop monstrous blind side blocks) and his helmet his him right under the helmet. In my opinion, there are 3 reasons it should have been flagged. It wouldn't have change the outcome, but yes, it was deserving of a flag.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Told you they would all behind Oregon at least. They'll be #5 in BCS rankings.
