Unfortunatley ranchers make up a very small part of the market. If a truck was made to directly suit you then it wouldnt have a very large market. They design vehicles to appeal to the highest percentage of people possible, and its sad that most people that drive trucks do not ever take them off the pavement

Ya. They don't have a clue! 4cyl (playing dead) 55-60mph my truck clearly (IMO) cleans their clocks; all day long; around town not so much.

No locking tail gate. My buddy got his 2011 GMC tail lights stolen because he did not lock his tail gate. Just a few bolts on both sides and unclip and the robber can sell the 2010 LED TACO tail lights to a 2004-2009 TACO owner.

Sorry about your bad experience, but one quick question. You sure the bottom out isn't your mud flaps?

The Power Steering... nothing but issues with it since I purchased the truck. I'm awaiting orders which will determine what I do with the truck.

That I didn't buy it sooner haha..

But seriously, only had it a month so it's a minor gripe but that it's such a pain in the skull to find mud flaps since I don't have (and don't want) the damn fender flares!

No Heated Mirrors! ... and vertically adjustable seats!

You would think that since Toyota's cold weather testing grounds are in/near Timmins, ON, Canada (48°30'49"N 81°18'25"W), and where it gets colder than a whore's heart on a payday... (-50C or -58F)...

... that some dufous testing engineer would have clued in and thought, "Geez, my ass is nice and warm on these new heated leather seats, but my fackin' fingers are freezing trying to scrape the ice off of my mirror!"

They had already wire harnessed the mirrors for the bling turning indicators, but probably decided to save the money for payday and warm up their hands on the local whores while bouncing there asses up and down.

Dcab is just a step below SUV, and SUV is "I'm married but not quite a whipped as the guy driving the minivan"

Access Cab FTW, and when I get my 5-lug RC paid off, I'll be getting one.

I beg to argue that a very practical vehicle like a DC with a long box is a step 'below' a SUV.

Try and throw a family, pets, and a load of wood, furniture, cow manure, or whatever, in a SUV.

Would it not be a step above?

... and just to :stirthepot: ... AC stands for Access Constricted !! ;)

Not on the 2nd Gen, unless you intend to put an adult back there.

I can't believe there is no way to have the doors auto lock. Yes I realize that I can just hit the lock button myself, but even my old dodge Dakota had an auto lock that I can toggle on and off. It is a safety issue when I am hauling my family around and don't think to hit the lock button.
