put my old shackle on my new all pro expo bumper, and installed my new expo leaf packs and u-bolt flip, along with my timbren bump stops in the rear. fronts tomorrow... started to sprinkle... also, snapped a damn wheel stud... wtf. pretty sure the wheel shop that installed my wheels/tires over tightened them. cause the powder coating made the hub centers hard to fit. the guy mentioned he had a hard time cranking down the lug nuts. great. i just finished it off...

the rear sits pretty high, but i need to dial down the front icons a bit to even it up. getting new front springs soon. 14" 700lb... king makes blue ones. who makes black ones? can you pm me? thanks!

After the rock sliders go on, the next for me will be seat covers.

Spent the weekend in the back seat of a friends Exterra as a group of us geocached outside of Yerrington, Nevada. He has some seat covers that are black, heavy nylon, kind of like what you would find on a heavy duty duffel bag. Not real form fitting, no foam backing, they are for function, rather than fancy look. In addition on the backs of the front seats are row and rows of nylon strap webbing that are made to hold a variety of small utility gadget bags and such. The seat covers came with a bunch

Doing our caching, we are in and out of the truck maybe 200 - 600 times in a day. These felt like they would do the job, and little could damage them.

Just need to get him to remember who made them as it was a group buy on his forum.

Can't blame it on Toyota, but he can blame it on the shit they put on the roads in the Northeast.

I sprayed my frame with Fluid Film today. Will probably drop the spare tire tomorrow and get the areas hidden by that.

I've never tried it before, so it will be interesting to see how things go this Winter.

He would have bought a Ford if he wanted a truck with the bottom covered in oil :D

    Oil AND Rust! ;)

I recently helped a friend work on his 2001 Ranger and 2001 Explorer. The Ranger's rear shackles were rusted so bad that one was completely gone and the spring was resting on the bed, and the frame was rusted through bad where the shackle mount goes. Plenty of oil preventing rust in the mid and front sections of both vehicles though!

Changed the front brake pads today. Those damn pins where kinda of a bitch, but all in all not too hard of a job. Probably could of got some more miles out if the old pads, but with inspection coming up, didn't want to take the chance of not passing. Since its pay, pass or fail here.

It lasted a little longer on my control arm bushings, but not much. Any real water crossing seems to wash it right off. That was on a powder coated surface though.
