    Oh really?

you're not supplying power to the fog light from this jumper. a one amp fuse to protect the relay circuit would be sufficient.

10 amp is the smallest I had in the garage at the time.

I dont have that relay in the air pump spot. Will my lights still come on by themselves if I use that spot?

I feel your pain TintedTaco. Went to do the mod today, and I also have the same problem... 2 relays in that box, and no wiring to the other the other open spots. Mine is a 2013 DCLB SR5. Tested a few connections over in the main fuse box which I could get to work, but im trying not to run a cable from the smaller box over to the larger. Unfortunately at this point, I think it may be our only option.

sub for later. I'm going to hook up my halo lights to the fog lights and then do this mod so they are always on when I press the Fog Light button on in the cab no matter if the high beams or what ever is on.

    Thanks

I seem to have a different sub panel then you guys. Same year, this is an access cab TRD off road. I'm missing the green and Grey? In the bottom right corner. Looking from above that space is empty aswell

I just did this mod, instead of un clipping, I stripped the green wire out, hooked a female connector to it, and connected that to an in line fuse (3amp) from the relay, I was able to feed the relay end through the hole on the bottom and tuck away the in line fuse on the bottom of the box, makes it super convenient to disconnect in case of dick head inspections.

Just did the fog light any time mod on my 2012. Just like above but I added a 10 amp inline fuse. Works perfect.. Fast and easy mod

apparently, my truck is a "special edition" (sarcasm). none of the connections worked for me. my headlights would come on and stay on, even in the off position, using the terminals suggested. any other ideas?

I plan to do the Johnny E Ultra Stealth Mod – swapping the red/black with the pale green wire in the sub panel – on my 2013 Baja, but I have a question. This would result in the exact same circuit as adding a jumper from the lower-right green circle (the pale green wire) and connecting it to the bent relay connector. I assume that the pale green wire is also a fused circuit from the factory (heated seats?), so why is a fuse needed if you do the jumper method but not the Johnny E Ultra Stealth Mod? Wouldn’t adding a fuse to the jumper be redundant? Am I correct in assuming that the Johnny E Ultra Stealth Mod does not require a fuse?

While figuring out how to best do the fog lights anytime mod, I also looked into getting some brighter bulbs. There are lots of vendors who offer “high performance” H11 bulbs – Sylvania, PIAA, lots of other vendors on Summit Racing’s website – but are these bulbs really worth it?

Also, while looking I found a thread on an Acura TSX forum that showed how to modify H9 bulbs to replace H11 bulbs. Apparently the light output when switching from standard H11 to H9 bulbs goes from 1350 lumens to 2100 lumens, while the wattage goes from 55w to 65w. The only physical difference between the bulbs is an additional small plastic tab in the socket area that can be easily cut away with a utility knife.

    http://www.tsxclub.com/forums/1st-gen-electronics/15061-fog-light-h11-h9-bulb-conversion.html

Has anyone tried this? Is it safe to up the wattage?
