I'm already bald so I would probably seem unaffected. Probably make me the leader of the new world.

We still disagree, it doesn't really matter how many times you try to be condescending, we aren't going to agree.

I'm not sure where anyone got the idea this would be a first action.

I just came through Sandy, it sucked but it pasted.

Suicide would be when all hope was lost. The show is about people that are "prepping" for a total break down of society---anarchy. Stealing, Killing and raping. That would be just a day of grocery shopping.

If I've had to fend off attacks on the house and had to sit starving in the cold dark house for months waiting for the next break in, then yes ending it on my terms would be an option.

I didn't realize you could eat guns...simply having a shit ton of weapons won't get you far in any survival situation if that's all you have going for you.

you have. It's not a pissing contest, its establishing facts. We can either be factual or fictional.

Society failing does not = dying in a firefight, it means society has broken down. It happened in Argentina in the early 2000s. You're subjecting your will on your family, what if your family didn't want to go out like that but wanted to survive?

You don't think this would be discussed?
You can't believe for a second my wife and I wouldn't be in agreement.
This is not something that would be whim, this would be when all hope is lost. This would be a family deciding together life is no longer worth living.

I'm not talking about a couple of weeks without power, neighbors helping each other. This is shooting your neighbor because he's trying to steal from you, this is not having eaten in 2 weeks, drinking dirty rain water that has come in through the holes in the roof.

So everyone in the 3rd world should off themselves and their Family? If this was the case, it would still be first world problems: had to drink water that filter through my ROOF. this implies a house, not a mud hut. The scenario you're discussing was normal life less than 200 years ago lol There is no way around it being a cowards decision. I would also not trust you and your wife to dictate how to end your child's life. The child has no option nor is it capable of even deciding.

Last time I checked this isn't a third world country and we have evolved since 200 years ago (most of us anyway).
What you trust, in who or why doesn't even register to me, you are a guy in a chat room that seems to argue with everyone.

In other words, you mean nothing.

Personal attack in bold? I'm not one to be upset by that sort of thing, sorry.

Last time I checked, the majority of this planet is living in 3rd world conditions and we don't see mass suicides because people who live in those conditions have a will to survive and don't subject their families to being killed off because someone can't stand up and be a leader.

Everyone here is a guy posting on a forum, how that does or does not qualify a post is a foolish en devour
