Yes go with the hub centric ones then you are not just relying on the lugs to keep your wheels centered.

I didn't check out the actual wheels, but I know hub centric is better.

go with the m/t's. Make sure you get the 4.5" backspacing. I've got the 17's on mine but you can see how much clearance I have over the brake caliper. you should be fine with the 16's.

What I got from that is the Mickey Thompson Classic Locks in 16x8 4.00" backspace will fit. Also the Level 8 Trackers in 16x8.5 with 4.50" backspace will work.

I have never bought into the BS that Sports and Off Roads have different calipers and Sports need 17" wheels (since they came with 17s). Obviously something is going on here for some people to say one specific wheel fits some trucks but not others, but it is hard to say if we are truly comparing apples to apples with information coming from so many different sources. As I understand it the clearance issue is not around the circumference of the caliper anyway, but actually the face of the caliper rubbing the back of the wheel, hence you see people claiming that a 16X8 with 4.50" backspacing won't fit, but the same wheel with 3.62" backspacing will.

I think your best options are the two I listed above, unfortunately Discount Tire doesn't show the Level 8 Tracker in 16X8.5 with 4.50" backspacing available anymore. They do have another Tracker in 16X8.5 with 3.75" backspacing, but that is too little backspacing for our trucks, without lots of trimming. As far as I can tell the Classic Locks are still available in the correct size, but a re a good bit more expensive then the wheels you were looking at.
If you don't mind going to steel, then the Wheeler's Offroad steelies are the way to go. They have a similar look to what you were going for and are very heavy duty.

With what size tires? 4" BS on a 8" wheel might push them out too far & they might rub insde wheel wells.

    You should be OK.
We got that cap for several reasons. Wife and I are both over 6' and we wanted more room for when we go camping in it. Also the side window screens open in addition to the windows.

FYI: the outer ring of the classic lock blacks is interchangeable. M/T makes 5 or 6 different colors I think. They're around $40/ring. I'm getting ready to put some red ones on mine!!!:D:D
