Speaking of Johnny football, he was the unanimous AP SEC offensive player of the year.

That's because every other bowl with the exception of LSU/Clemson and the NCG sucks

I like the Gator Bowl matchup. I just think we're gonna lose.

Don't know if I can relive that heartbreak again.

I just saw that. Pisses me off. What happened to SEC pride? But I do remember in 2010 when Bama fans were rooting for Oregon but either way, it's stupid. I'm Auburn and all in and I'm all for Bama on this one, just like last year!

At the momemnt, I've got Bama winning by two touchdowns, at least. Manti Te'o can't stop Lacey and Yeldon. The man has got to get tired eventually, right? Plus, ND's offense has yet to impress me in any game.

Eh, I understand in rivalries like that. We don't exactly have a rivalry with Bama, so it's easy to root for them in the Championships. It was freakin hard to pull for Florida back when they were on top. It sucked. But, I did it anyway, because it made us look better.

Te'o Can't do it all. And they haven't seen an offensive line like Bama's yet. I saw it first hand Saturday, and it was absolutely scary, as shown by that 350 yards of rushing.

Jarvis got SEC Defensive player of the year. Sucks he's gonna leave us.

Yeldon and Lacey have 1000+ yds on the season. The o-line doesn't do it all, but you are right, it helps having those guys up front.
reminds me of the "roll ducks roll"

Heres my problem with the ranking system (yes im a pac 12 guy)... USC was STILL somehow ranked after 3 fuckin losses ... and got to start the season #1 after they werent even bowl eligible last year

I also think these ticket prices are insane ... $102 for nosebleeds to see Oregon and Kansas St in Glendale, AZ ... ridicilous!

Doesn't bother me... Lots of butthurt fans at every school. I cheer for almost every SEC team in bowl games (if I'm watching). I cheered for Florida over tOSU in 2006 and OU in 2008 (even though they got there by beating Alabama in the SECC). I would have cheered hard for UGA against the leprechauns.

I didn't cheer for auburn in 2010. Tennessee and auburn are the only two I won't cheer for. I'm not cheering against them, necessarily, and I'm not buying "roll ducks roll" shirts or anything. I just can't cheer for them.

Maybe that makes me a 'butthurt fan' too.

You're a better man than me.

Yeldon and Lacy will open up the passing game for McCarron and Cooper, and we'll win in less of a "game" than this weekend. I'm not impressed by ND at all. One common opponent: Michigan. ND won 13-6, Alabama won 41-14.

A friend told me that if aTm and UGA taught us anything, it's that a team CAN score on Alabama. I think Oregon and K State would both have had a much better shot at beating Alabama than ND. Too bad they both lost and didn't have the SEC to stand on to get back into the game.

I honestly think that the championship game will be a really good one. I dont root for or against either team, but I have seen both of them play quite a bit this year. For those that have doubted ND overall team, watch out. They have a very mobile QB that throws well on the run (does make some mistakes though). Solid running game with 2 hard running backs that are shift and quick. Great TE play and a solid defense.....really solid. The only problem that I have seen with ND is that they like to play to the level of the opposing team (see Pitt, Purdue, Mich, etc)
Alabama on the other hand, well...they have already proven themselves.
Think it will be great to watch.

Somebody needs to arrange for the radio guy to show up for the pregame and ask Richt if he thinks he and Murry will "come up short" in this game because that's what he's hearing...:stirthepot:

I love it that Richt called him out at the presser and stood up for his players.
