I work in Wellington. Basically nothing other than dirt roads that I've found unfortunately...wish I could find something.

I did use the dirt piles to check my flex when I got rims and tires on my last truck...

So, I have been looking forward to going out to Corbett on Sunday. I was talking to one of my friends that went out there last weekend. They said that Florida Fish and Wildlife was basically busting everyone's balls all weekend. From what I understand, if change the rules, and not everyone can go on the trails. Apparently, during hunting season (now) You have to be actually participating in a hunt To take your vehicle on a trail. I was checking the FWC website and this is what I found. I'm still planning on going out, but I don't think it is going to be nearly as fun as I had anticipated.

Basically a (relitively) maintained dirt road...some are maintained better than others.

OH, OK. I thought it was something like that. I started looking at some old Florida maps that I have and noticed "improved roads" & figured it out. I have a Florida Map from 1928 that shows US 41 (back then known as US 94) as an "improved road".

    Just a reminder

My wife, 2 boys, and me in my truck.

    Manny in his F-150

Patrick in his Jeep. (Pablo no longer going).

My co-worker Chris and his girlfriend in his Supra powered 240SX. He's obviously not going to hit the trails with, he's just spectating.

I will have sandwiches and drinks for the 8 people in my party.

    See you at 11:00! :)

Found a nice little dump place outside of Corbett limits today driving around in loxahatchee. It's all kinda mulchy soft stuff but it was kinda fun jumping the hills.

Then on the way home in royal palm, found a nice little wooded area with a lot of nice muck to tear through.

    Sounds like fun Finks99Taco.

BTW, I had long been debating the getting the Detroit True Trac LSD in my open diff truck since I was afraid of messing with something thats problem free as it is now. I even texted Dan that I decided to NOT go through with it.

Well, the mechanic at the Toyota Dealership who's gonna install it for me installed one on his dads 2004 Tundra (same diff as the 2nd gen Tacomas) and he SWEARS by them. He also installed a True Trac LSD on one of the Service Writers Tacoma. His '06 Tacoma had the factory LSD and he still opted for the True Trac! He also is very happy with it. The tech said its fairly easy.

God willing I will have it installed next Wednesday and I'll keep you posted. I know it's not the same as a locked diff but this is the best option for me for the money.
    :)

I usually go down to about 12-15 depending on the terrain. It's a good figure to run to keep the rubber on the rim but still give you better grip on what your driving on.

I've heard that locker is good. When I get one I want it to be the ARB so I can turn it on when I want it and need it. But it's pricey to say the least.
