Focal 165 v30

For anybody that has them on the taco, what spacer size is needed for the fronts?

Also, do I need a spacer for the tweeter? Thanks in advance.

 

I have a set of the KRX Components, I used a 1" thick baffle. I made my own tweeter mounts based off the stockers.

 

I am guessing just grab a generic one and modify according to the holes, etc.

 

it was roughly an inch but i dont recall, it was more for fastening purposes than anything else. i did not get photos

I might do something different this time as I was sitting at a dinning table last night and found an idea . I might use the wife's large size coasters.

Easily cut down to shape and paint them.

 

+1 on the painting... do something to seal the wood up well. Over time they are subject to moisture and MDF can break down if you're using it.

 

Don't think you need a spacer for tweets.
