    Lots of expensive shit

Cool story dude, when you want to talk about the same thing lets talk...

He said that having a tall rear ride height makes a truck squirly at speed, and I simply stated that the rear ride height is not going to make a truck squirly at speed. Having the front end lower transfers more weight to the front wheels which will increase the handling affects of the front suspension. A truck will plow when turning if there isnt enough weight on the front wheels.

I also stated that not having enough caster will cause a truck to feel squirly at speed. The rear ride height can directly affect the caster numbers. Lifting the rear of the truck up will tilt the spindle forward, IE decreasing caster. So although raising the rear ride height can affect the handling, it is because of the affect it has on another variable that needs to be adjusted to compensate and is not really because of the rear ride height.

After that statement, people started commenting on their truck stance, and I simply stated that most TTs have a lower front ride height, and that was just an example.

So therefore, my theories are based off of known facts about suspension design, and they have just been explained. I do infact have common sense and was not trying to compare valving differences between a leaf spring, link set up, and IRS set up....

i was originally just commenting on your quote, comparing the rear ride height of tt to a leafsprung truck . then you went off on another tangent after your the one who asked me "How do you figure?". i gave all the input i was willing to, do you want an essay?
im sorry you took it offensively ,puffed your chest up and tried to walk a little taller by stating your basic knowledge of suspension dynamics. i was just letting you know im not exactly new to this sport and im not talking out of my ass like most people on these sites do. i dont mind pointing someone in the right direction, when someone with a real question seriously needs help. just not into giving free education, theres no job security in that....

why not just spend a few hundred more to get a burg kit thats race proven and cut the shock tower for a real shock so you can get the full 16-17" of travel and keep 2" of track width. i applaud them for not just copying a kit but why 4.5" over per side for just another extra inch of travel. theres already 1 too many players in the LT a-arm game for a niche sport that is relatively small. still interested to see how it turn out though.
