Been quiet in here. Rouse a little Rabble.

Tell me about this cutting the frame and these plates for the SAW/TC....

.....since I'll needs to know and all...soon?...right?...maybe?...Before the end of the world as the mayans have predicted?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!!?!?!?!?!??!?!!??!!!!!!!!!!!!

You've been super awesome through this whole deal. Communication has been top notch, I'll admit a little worry at the beginning, but it's been pure gravy the past 2 months or so. (I do watch when I send ya' a text, time difference and all)

I can only imagine your angst with your AMs LT. Been almost a year in the making on that hasn't it? The 3 months I've been waiting ain't shit in comparison.

Oh yeah, liked the 5 lug circle jerk idea. It would be neat-o to arrange a 5 lugger only meet, I'd sure as fuck try to make it, Cali or not, it would get heavy, heavy consideration.

Move along, there's nothing to see here...yet. :spy:

Thanks for being very patient and understanding. I actually just sent you a text.

Here's a link to a PDF of the instructions: http://www.chaosfab.com/PDF/install/88500.pdf.

If you or somebody you know has access to a plasma cutter and welder and know how to use them, it'll be an easy job. You'll need a piece of scrap metal to fill in what you cut, otherwise, there are people that just simply cut off and leave it without filling it. If you look at the instructions, you'll see what I'm talking about.

Ok, cool. Just chopping off the bump stop...stop basically? Nothing major!

Shouldn't be an issue. Take a look at it in the next few days. I have a torch, a sawzall or a cutting wheel all at my disposal. All should get that job done.

Go back and take a look at your pics, see if I can spot the cut.

Thanks Steven! Saved that link as well, print those off. Might come in handy.

No real updates until after I drop off my truck this weekend at American Motorsports. Got a steal of a deal on 5 15x8 Eagle Alloys and 4 33x12.5x15 ProComp XTerrain tires. Wasn't planning on buying wheels and tires just yet, but I couldn't pass the deal up. Best part is the wheels fit without the use of spacers to clear the caliper. Also picked up a 20" LED light bar from OKLEDLIGHTBARS that will be incorporated into the new bumper.

That's the plan. For the 5-lug kit, at least. :)

I'm in the Glendale area. It's quite the drive to Brian's shop.

Pretty much done. One spindle and hub assembly still needs to be cut out and machined, but it should be done later this week. The rear TC kit and 50T pack are also going in as well. They've been sitting in Brian's shop collecting dust, haha.

His kit for the 1st gen 5-lug is dialed in. Just ask Alex (battlescars).

Hit up Brian to come check out his shop. I'm sure he'll be more than happy to show you the kit.

I'd definitely like to go to Ocotillo or Lucerne. I'm new to the LT family so it'll be cool if a bunch of us could go out and have some fun. I've seen threads about meets in the desert in the past.

    Will do. Thanks!

Btw, your truck is looking good despite the slight stink bug look. :p (I kid. I lurk in the LT BS thread a lot, haha.) :spy:

By all means, do what you have to do first. The kit will always be there when you graduate.

    Nice pic guy!

Cap the ends of that thing...You want Bumper Bees?

A little rubber cut out and some 3M weather stripping junk work really well. Ask me how I know...

Its starting to level out! Threw my second spare in for DD'ing and it looks good.
Going to Barstow this after-noon to beat on the rear end some more, so hopefully this will do it!
