I am beginning a book(on boobies)

Just off the top of my head, you should collect age, race and education data as well, 18-25, 26-40, 41-50, 50+ oh, and if they have kids and how many. This data if there is a large enough survey will actually yield some interesting data.
Also, have you thought about any questions pertaining to how a woman feels about how breasts are portrayed in the media?

 

I've already done 18 surveys on girls between the age of 16-20.
Just facebook friends at the moment.

Looks like tomorrow is when i'll have time to do the TW "Adult" Survey:

I'll have to consider those variable when doing this one, the local fb friends is easy to figure out.

How many TW members would be intrested in a survey as such?

In a social theory you can argue that eroticism of breasts is socially constructed. Men naturally get more visually turned on than women; therefore, men condition more turn ons to images and inanimate objects. Example... if a guy masturbates to a visual image, his subconscious stores that image and chances are he will be turned on next time he sees that image, even if he does not remember it. Since breasts have been sexualized in society, men have conditioned their brain to associate the image of breast with sexual response. You can also argue that attraction to breasts is biological. Men want to reproduce and breasts are symbols of fertility. Humans are built for survival and are naturally pre programmed to be attracted to mates that are more fertile and evolutionarily fit to reproduce and raise the most fit offspring. Breasts are crucial in raising offspring (obviously for food and comfort). Same with the shape of a woman's hips. Hips signify that a woman is fit enough to carry her offspring.

There is sooo much information on this stuff but the best advice I can give you is to find some reliable sources...you will not find any reliable answers on TW haha NO OFFENSE GUYS. All I see here is sexually frustrated men that want to masturbate to naked pictures. Good luck!

Yea I didn't mean to generalize. Let me rephrase. Many of the members (not all) that are giving any input here, are just drooling about the fact that you're writing about boobs.

 

I think many such as myself aren't "drooling" just think this is a fun topic to BS about and help out Cam if we can... I don't really care about the philosophy of boobs or the philosophy of any other body part.

Fair enough, i think it's a great thread, no butthurt or crass insults, I'm having fun with it but it sounds like this guy actually wants to pull something together so I want to help him.
So to answer your post in kind i could say that we are programmed to admire breasts and hips, it's just what they are attached to that usually drives me up a fucking wall.
