I hope. I never knew much about him but I just read all about him and his accomplishments...and add that to what you just told me...makes me more excited about the future.

    Fair enough
Ole Piss had one hell of an offense under him, if I remember correctly.
Just because he was a good coordinator, doesn't make him a good head coach. Look at Dan Mullen, great qb coach and coordinator at Florida, but has yet to really show much as a head coach.

Both teams have 12 wins. I don't see the problem here.

Notre Dame defensive coordinator Bob Diaco has won the Broyles Award as the nation's top assistant coach.
Notre Dame's defense under Diaco has allowed the fewest touchdowns in the country this season and is sixth overall in total defense. The top-ranked Fighting Irish take on No. 2 Alabama for the Discover BCS National Championship on Jan. 7 in Miami.

This is supposedly the way it went. I'm just not excited, mostly because I fear Keihl Frazier will be the starting QB next season. At least it's not B.Petrino.

Actually Houston Nutt had Malzahn @ Arkansas... the problem at the time was Nutt had Darren McFadden & Felix Jones and those 2 could tote the rock so Nutt wasn't crazy about throwing the ball around.

I really like Mullen and if given enough time I think he'll do well there. Mullen just doesn't have the amount of talent that was available to him @ UF so it'll take a little more time. If he's bringing in Juco prospects he must be feeling the heat to win so he's trying to accelerate his program. I appreciate that he had an opportunity to go back to UF when Meyer had his illness but chose to stick with MS. It seems to me you've come a long way from Crooms days.

I was already thinking about Frazier... wasn't he a Malzahn recruit? I wonder if the fact there's still good many of Malzahn's recruits there that they're hoping this will speed up the turn around?

They lost to a sorry ass Pitt team that turned right around and handed the game back to them.

I actually think Frazier can be turned around. This years offense wasn't built the way he needs an offense to be built to be successful.

    Really? Oops.

I don't disagree, I like Mullen too. He is building a program that had no talent to begin with, but the 2009 and 2010 teams were much more competitive than the past two teams have been. Croom had wanted the Alabama job, but he settled for us. He did start the program in the right direction towards the end of his career though. I'm looking forward to when Mullen gets the mobile qb he wants to run his offense. Our backup Prescott is a better fit for the spread-option scheme that he wants to run rather than Tyler Russell. Hopefully he can get our defense back to what it was in 2010 so we can be a little more competitive in the big games.

    Yes he was.
    I wonder the same.

    I'm not sure.
That's what was said but, remember he COULDN'T win the starting job over a cripple.

I think next year's MSU-Aub game should be pretty close.

Yeah that was pretty sad... to me Frazier never looked like he had a clue. I thought Wallace looked better.

Frazier's head has to be rattled now. Reminds me of Garrett Gilbert with all the "second coming" crap and then totally shitting the bed.

Gilbert really surprised me... I thought when he came in for Colt against us in the NC game I figured Texas was set @ QB.
