Why would someone want an 03? I'm sorry but 4th gen runners are hideous. I'd rather have an 03 4x4 taco, which you can get fully loaded for less than 16k haha

I know it's different wherever you live but around here you can buy an 03 - 04 4x4, 4Runner cheaper than a 02 - 03 4x4 taco. I agree, I don't care much for the 4 Gen 4Runner. Now, if it was a 5th gen Trail 4Runner, I would be all over that. If you can't get a rear locker, I'm not much interested, even if I barely use it, just like knowing it's there in case I do. Also, here in the mountain area of east Tennessee, you can't give a 2 wheel drive away.

5th gen Trail editions are beautiful. And I hear you about the 2WD thing, I've been having trouble selling mine. But some one is driving over an hour to see it tonight, knowing full well it's 2WD and the price I'm firm on. Wish me luck!

Good luck! Someone will buy it, that's why they build them. Maybe in 5 or 6 more years, I'll be able to buy a 5th Gen Trail T4R. I just can't stomach the thought of spending $35,000 - $40,000 on a vehicle. My buddy just bought a new 335I and he told me his payments were $800 a month, that's crazy. I guess it's because I'm getting older but if I can't pay cash for it, I'm not buying it.

I missed this T4R by a day before I bought my Taco and this is one 4th Gen that I would of bought. This was a 2004 with 120,000 miles, 4x4, 4.0 and the guy was asking $12,000.

Not mine but I think this is the best looking 4Runner ever. This one sold last year on the 4runner forum. I can't remember exactly what the guy sold it for but seems it was around $12,000.

Family really liked it, the father told me he needed to sleep on it though. He said its either my truck or a brand new one from the dealer..

And yeah I'd rather purchase a vehicle that keeps value and is cheap to insure..

Best looking 4th gen I've seen, thats a shame you missed it. I missed an 05 access cab, 4x4, 120k miles, trd offroad, anthracite FJ wheels, plate front bumper... I was absolutely livid when he told me he sold it, while I was in the process of trying to find a time to buy it..oh well.
