Idaho BS thread in the PNW

Well bro... I'm a 8 to 5 guy .... I run the repair side of oasis auto on 32nd and state so my weeks are really busy... but weekends are great for me man. I will talk to my friend about the bumpers... he is going to be excited about that. He has been itching to get back into fabbing. I'll let you know. He also runs a shop here In town so he's pretty busy during the week as well.. but yeah man I'd definitely take all the help I can get..I'll let you know.

And thats great to hear that your friend is going to be excited! It should be a fun project building your sliders and a bumper. What does he want to do? Start a shop? Get hired at a local shop? Where does he work/run now?

no I plan on it, i have requested half the days off, it was too late to get that saturday. So my plan is to make sure i have saturday off, and drive in friday evening. Then leave sunday night. However if the resort opens by that weekend or its training day then I have to bail. Everyone else can do it on the weekend tho so I dont want to be the only one holding it back.

 

I unfortunately will have to pass this trip... my wife is pregnant and the pregnancy is a bit harsh. She gets very car sick very quick and has a hard time dealing with our 3 year-old when she is alone with him for more than 10 hrs... so her and the boy coming will not work and me leaving for a weekend right now won't as well which sucks for family wheeling on the weekends and anything else... which just all around sucks... thanks though bro.

 

I know I know I know buddeh, ill try my super duper hardest to be there. It was me and brady's idea after all haha.

And thats good to hear we will meet up as you come too boise, that'll happen almost never haha.

I just asked Brant if he works that Saturday. If he does then are you guys up for Moonlight on Sunday and we can do a different trail Saturday. Although might not even matter if we can come up with another cool trail to run.

He works at aamco on Fairview and use to also be a Toyota factory tech... so he is a great guy for info as well.. I don't know if he wants to start a fab shop.. but that is a great idea...hmmm..... food for thought that is...

I missed the last big wheeling trip I had planned on going on due to a training day at work, now that was a bad excuse, nobody was very pleased with me there. As long as you hang out here and stick around there will be plenty of decent sized off roading trips to go on. This summer we got a couple big ones in the works. There is the epic moab meet and our NW crew's equally epic 10 day overland expesition over whyoming and montana (which I will only be in the first 3 days of). But monte and mike have quite the trip in the works.

Brant thinks he is free that weekend, but isn't for sure since it is so close to Christmas. So Moonlight on saturday and try to come up with something else Sunday? I imagine it will be dark by the time Mark gets here on Friday.

 

I've been drooling over Moab.... looks fun as hell!.. I'll probably need to get a lift before I go there though...
